Dear Ms. Jacobson:

In agreement to your mission statement, I am a strong believer of the saying that ‘music comes from within and every soul has it’. The job of a music teacher is therefore to extract this inner music, then polish it; which is exactly what I do.

As a fruitful consequence of my three years work experience in the capacity of an independent music teacher, my instructional skills have refined and come to the fore front. During my practice, I groomed young musicians in playing piano, guitar and violin. Being a dedicated music instructor, I devised a targeted curriculum for each of my students and set target goals. I also very good in record keeping and have a track record of maintaining independent e-portfolios of each of my students. As for the skills of conducting a choir, my volunteer work at Sunday services of the local church have equipped me with those.

Being an active member of the National Association of Performing and other arts, I have coordinated many musicals at national level. Likewise, I have ample knowledge of how large scale concerts and theatres are put together and what role a music instructor plays.
