New Esthetician Resume Sample – No Experience

Your resume alone might not lead to an interview, but it is definitely an important factor in the short listing process. To make your resume noticed in today’s challenging work place, you must ensure that it is furnished with the skills the potential employer is seeking. When the employer can relate your skills with the available position, you automatically get an edge over the candidates competing with you, who possess similar skills but fail to express them in the resume.

Resume writing is not a simple task, especially for an entry level esthetician, partly because of the subjective perceptions regarding the profession and due to lack of any worth mentioning experience. Resume specialists recommend going through some well built sample resumes in such situations.

Residential Care Aide Job Description for Resume

General Overview

Residential care aides work in assisted facilities or patients’ homes where their prime responsibility is to provide assistance to patients under their care. They are trained to provide patients with limited nursing care and also help them with their toileting, washing and mobility needs. Since they work with patients very closely, they are trained in keeping their temper in check and showing compassion as it is often difficult to cater to the needs of people with disabilities on a constant basis.

There are no prerequisites to work as a residential care aide as far as education is concerned although employers prefer a high school diploma or an equivalent. Some training is required to handle the patients properly which is why residential care aides are provided with medical instructions before they are deployed to a resident’s home.

Providing medical assistance is not all that residential care aides do. They are also required to assist patients in handling personal needs such as changing beds, washing and ironing clothes and shopping for groceries.

New Esthetician Cover Letter – No Experience

Candidates in the esthetics profession, who are fresh and seeking work, often find it very challenging to write an effective cover letter to impress the hiring manager. Beginners are often intimidated by the level of competition they face as they enter the job market with the hope of getting their resume noticed somehow. Well, that’s where a cover letter comes in. The purpose of a well targeted and position customized cover letter is to get your resume due attention.

Being a new graduate/ entry level candidate, it is obvious you do not have a lot of professional experience to offer. To overcome this, it is best to showcase your position relevant skills and training. You could stick to the conventional three paragraph format or use the objective format with bullets or headings. Whichever lay out you chose, make sure the skills you have highlighted are the ones the employer is seeking. Remember, just mentioning the skills won’t do the magic, you need to demonstrate utility of the same in the Esthetician role.

56 Harbor post
Tampa, FL 76525

Dear Ms. Jason:

As a recent graduate with valid Florida State issued license in esthetics, I’d like to be considered for your advertised position of junior esthetician. In addition to holding a relevant degree, I also have diploma courses in cosmetology and facial treatments that might fit your requirements.

My following attributes give a solid weight to my profile:

• Comprehensive knowledge of broad range of products and skin types
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Familiar with broad range of specialty spa services

In your advertisement you mentioned a need for expertise in hair-styling and skincare. Working at Shine Saloon and Spa as an intern rendered me familiar with general client protocol and professional hair/skin care techniques. With my exceptional communication skills and results-driven approach, I am capable of running facility’s operations without supervision in a one to one session with the client. My training in developing individualized manicures, pedicures and waxing is yet another asset I offer Gina’s Saloon in capacity of a junior esthetician.

My resume featuring my profile in greater detail is enclosed for your view. I excitedly await an interview which I believe would be a great platform for me to demonstrate my attributes and for you to determine my esthetic skills and capabilities. I will call you after one week for this purpose.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
